Hi,
I wonder if somebody can help me. I am trying to create a sub form within my form for staff sickness records.

I have a table called "Sickness" for which I have each individual member of staff and their sickness dates From and Until. However, when I create the subform it shows every persons sickness dates. How can I get it to just show the dates of the person in veiw on the form.

Am I making any sense? I can attach the database if this will help.

PLEASE HELP ME!
Thanks
Lisa

You need to link the child (field on subform) and master (field on main form) fields.

Thanks but how do I do this? Ive clicked on properties and managed to fill them in (child and master) but Its still not working.

I'm having problems attaching it. It says its the wrong format. What should I do?

You can't attach .mdb files. You'll need to zip it up first.

What version of windows are you on? I think the later ones have zip (or create compressed file or something similar) on the menu when you right click on a file. If you don't have that option, you need to get a copy of winzip. You can download a trial version at www.winzip.com.
Alternatively, if you're database is only small, you might try changing the extension of the copy you're uploading to one of the allowed extensions

I can then change it back to mdb once I've downloaded it. Never tried that on this site though so I don't know if it will work, but I can't see why it shouldn't.

I dont have that option on the menu so I am trying to download from the website. Is it WinZip 9.0 SR-1 Evaluation Version which I want?

Sorry to be a pain
