Does anyone know how to have a datasheet view in a subform fill the top of the main form?
I want to be able to see the records in a datasheet view and when the record in the datasheet view is selected it prefills the top of a form ?

I'm doing something like this, not completly the same tho. I have on my main form a field called Total Percentage. My subform contains all kinds of records with a percentage. If you add or delete a record in the subform it recalculate the total percentage in the main form

this is what i have in main form for the total percentage field in the control source property

=[sFrm_Dist_Keys].Form!sumPercOnSub

sumPercOnSub is afield i have in the subforms page header.

I have a powerpoint presentation on this which explains everything in detail with an example. Its to large to upload tho.
