Ok all here we go. I hope I can explain this.

I have a report that has one sub-report in it. The reports share the matching primary key field. Both tables will always have the same 75 primary key records. The reports are linked (master and child) by this primary key.

Main Report setup:

no report header or footer.
page Header - basic info
Detail - primary key text box and other relevant data
page footer - the subreport

SubReport setup:

report header - description of the fields
detail - primary key textbox and other relevant data
no footers.

The problem:

The problem is that the first page prints perfectly - meaning that both recordsets match. The report is configured to show only 10 records from the main and 10 from the sub (i.e. the main page header is setup to occupy half of the page.) But when you go to the second page, the main reports detail goes to the next 10 records but the sub reports stays on the first 10. I need both record sets to always match and be the same on the same page. The best I can explain this is, if records A-D appear on both reports on page 1 then on page 2 records E-J should appear.

I hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for everybodies help.

Thanks Pat as always you give insight. I will try this tonight.

Add On:

Ok I tried it Pat and what it does is list all of the records for the first subreport then all of the records for the next report. Which in a way is good, however, I need the page headers from both sub reports to always be on the pages. At least now all of the records show. I will keep playing with this. Do you have any more ideas?
