Substituting text

I'm still working on the same report as mentioned in my last post about eliminating extra lines.

Now, I want to substitute text in one of the fields. The online availability field will either contain 'SC' or nothing. If the field contains 'SC', I need it to say something like 'Online - Yes'. If the field is empty, it should display nothing.

Please note that I am currently displaying this field based on the information I got in a reply to my other message:

=[Location]+(Chr(13) & Chr(10)) & [callnumber]+(Chr(13) & Chr(10)) & [Online Availability]+(Chr(13) & Chr(10)) & [PF Subject]

Thanks for your reply! It works, except for the fact I've found another value in just a few records in that field.

Now I need the report to substitute "Online - Yes" if the field data includes either SC or DSP. I tried adding an 'Or' statement in various configurations to the information you provided, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Not sure if this is the best way, but you could add another IIF inside the first one

IIf([Online Availability] = "SC", "Online - Yes", IIf([Online Availability] = "DSP","Online - Yes",""))
