Good day!
I've created a dbase for insurance renewal business transaction.
I used a primary field named "Policy Number" on one table.
Policy numbers are alphanumeric and structure depends on the insurance company who carries such.
Example of Policy Number/s:
TSI-PCP-100000
PCTSIY0600000
MK-06-05-00000
Is it possible to suggest the next policy series upon encoding?
Say for example, the last policy series encoded was TSI-PCP-100001. Could "TSI-PCP-100002" automatically appear on the Policy Number field once new data is added?
I have attached a picture of the form.
Also, I need to track down status (status: paid, cancelled, spoiled, etc..) of each policy number encoded.
Can i make a query that would generate "missing policy number series"? ...or those policy numbers which "jumped" from order series?
Many thanks!
Sheila
