Sum A Date Group

Hi folks,

I am having problems with my report.

It groups together information on a monthly basis (Count([Referral Date 1]))- January x3, Feb x12, Mar x1 etc.. What I want to do is have a grand total at the bottom.

Can anyone help?

Put a Totals text box in the section footer and set it to =sum(monthlytotal)

change names as appropriate.

I've tried that, but it still does not work.

The problem is that when I open the report I have pop-up boxes which asks you to input two different dates.

When I try your formula, another pop-up appears and asks for the monthly total??

Any help again?

Sorry I think you misunderstood what I was telling you. You should change monthlytotal to the name of the box holding the total for each month that you want included in the total.
 
I'll try and explain

This is what I have got on the query -

(Referral Date 1) set to between [Start Date] and [End Date]

Another Expr to group them into Month Numbers.

So in my Report I have a text box for Expr1 and another for =Count[Referral Date 1]

What is the formula to total all of the referrals made between the two selected dates and where should I put it?
