Sum Calculated Fields from other queries

hi, i am trying to sum two fields (calculated fields from two different queries). for example i have 3 in field1 and 2 in field2, when i use tb:sum([field1]+[field2]), it
gives me 32 insted of 5. here is my query snap shot

pin_No emp_Name booked1 taken1 BT

0025 Phil Marks 2 1.5 21.5
0045 Jim Aallan 6 3 63
0065 Suzie Wood 1.5 0 1.5

any help please...

The fields must be text format as the + is acting as a concatenation .
