Sum in report

Hello

How do I get my report to add up all same item numbers ?
I have the following in my Query

Item,SubItem,Quantity
1,1,4
1,2,6
2,1,88
3,1,33
3,2,11
3,3,45
etc
I'm looking for the following results
item, Total Quantity
1,10
2,88
3,89

or does this Question belong in the query section

Group by Item, show the footer for the group (i.e. Item group), create an unbound text box in the footer of the group and set its control source to Sum([Quantity])
