Sum of records on a report

Hi all, I have a report that each time it's run will have a different number of records, I created a text box in the detail section of the report and then put the control source to "=1" and then changed the running sum to over all. That totals everything up perfectly, but I want the TOTAL # of records to be displayed in my Form Header so the user can see exactly how many records are displayed on the first page, it seems really easy I just can't figure it out, Thanks in advance!!

If you mean count how many records in the report Header simply do this:

Add an unbound text box in the Report Header and in the properties select the record source then add in the following: =Count(0)

Job done when you preview your report it will show you the Total
