I am trying to suppress the page numbering on the first page of the report.

The first two pages both come from the report header section of the main report. On the first page there is some static text. Than comes the second page still in the report header which is a subreport. The third page already comes from the detail section.

I have added the following line of code to the On Format event of the page footer:

If Me.Page = 1 Then Me.PageFooterSection.Visible = False Else Me.PageFooterSection.Visible = True

I presume this line of code is not executed on the second page so it can't switch page numbering back because if it is there the page numbering starts on the 3rd page if it isn't the page numbering starts on the 1st page.

Could somebody suggest me some solution so that page numbering would start on the 2nd page?

Many thanks.

Try this as the control source for the text box in the report footer that prints the page numbers:

=IIf([Page]=1,"","Page " & [Page] & " of " & [Pages])

Wow, that was a creative workaround and did the job perfectly. Thanks a lot.
