I created a Main Switchboard form by mistake. Deleted it. Then I came to create my switchboards using Switchboard Manager, but none are the forms appear in my database window. Or anywhere? But I click on the Switchboard Manager and they appear there. but not in my forms object.

Any Clues?

I had a backup so I've gone back to that. Shame lost some work, not much. Still dunno why they didn#t appear in the forms tab from the objects pane thingy.

Yeh I have the same problem with mine. The switchboard items still appears in the tables section, but I cannot see or use the switchboards. But they are there in the switchboard manager.

Must be a 2000 thing, it's happened to me as well.
Once I get my relationships sorted ( see earlier post) I was going to recreate switchboard in a new db, just a basic one. Then import the form and modify it to current db. don't know if this will fix the problem though.

Well, the problem I have is that I created my switchboard and was working fine. But then I didn't need it anymore so I deleted it from the forms menu. If I go into the switchboard manager it is still there. So i thought that if I created a new switchboard it would solve this problem, but when I created this new switchboard I couldn't access it the normal way, ie from the form menu. I can still edit and do everything in the switchboard manager and the switchboard items table is still there but I cannot open the switchboard anywhere.
So I was wondering if there was any way to open the switchboard without using the forms menu.

delete the table "Switchboard Items"

Edit, perhaps that is a bit too short an answer!
if you get rid of the table and the form you should be able to create a complete new switch board OK. Might be worth a try renaming the existing table, create a new switchboard complete with table, then try swaping the original table back in.

I've tried deleting the switchboard items table and that did nothing, it then just created a new one when I attempted to create a new switchboard.

I don't quite understand what you saying here

Are you saying that if you delete both the table and form and then recreate them that you get no form in the forms window, or that you get a form but when you open it you are not finding the switchboard items that you have set up in the Manager?

The forms are fairly simple and if you are not seeing what you are expecting it is more likely a problem with the table.

Can you strip a copy of the DB down to the switchboard and post it for us to have a look at?

Well when I create the switchboard the table appears with the switchboard items in but not the form. I will show a copy of the db at a later date as I do not have a copy of that at the moment, but will be getting one in a couple of days, as I am out of the office at the moment.

Sry bout the double post but I managed to get a copy of the db and then I deleted the switchboard items table again. It works now, so I don't know what i tried doing last time.

Sry for the waste of time and thanks for your help.
