Switchboard Problem

Hey everyone,

Got a little problem with my switchboard...

When I start my DB it goes to my splash page, then to a login page, then finally to my switchboard. Switchboard looks great when it is first opened...(maximized, no boarders, buttons aligned). Heres the problem...

As soon as I click any one of my buttons, a form opens. I close that form and my switch has shifted down about an inch. It now has a vertical scroll bar, which I most definitely defined the form not to have. Also the top 1 inch (rectangle across the screen) of the background of the form has disappeared (see-thru). Has anyone seen this before...any insight or ideas? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Figured out what I believe to be happening...

Switchboard is maximized when opened, and so are the forms which are opened from the switchboard (when opened). So when I open the forms, the switch can't stay maximized (only one window maximized at the same time im assuming). So would I have to add code to every form which is opened on the switch (OnClose) that tells it to maximize the switchboard, or is there an option on the switchboard events to maximize when it gets focus (tried maximizing under GetFocus event, no luck). Thanks.

This works some of the time...but it still isn't quite right. There is still "missing pieces" around the boarder of my switches background (detail section background) which appear in random spots and sometimes there are scroll bars and sometimes not.

I put the code under the switchboard form's 'Got Focus' event. Is that where I should be putting it, because when the form I open from the switch is closed, the switchboard is back on top. Thanks for the replies.

You could use Got Focus or try On Current.

If not required I would close your Splash screen when you open the Login screen. Then close your Login after you open your Switchboard.
