Switchboard problem

Does anyone know how to add a search facility to the switchboard? i.e. a text box where a customer id number can be typed in and the customer record will come up.

It's driving me mad!

Hello,

What you could do is create a query that displays customer records based on a parameter value that you have to enter (the customer ID in this case).
then create a form based on this query and have your switchboard open this form...
everytime u click the switchboard button to open this form u shud be prompted with a li'l box asking for the customer id....
