switchboard trouble

hey guys, im having a bit of switchboard trouble. i cant seem to make it appear when i want it to appear. i go into database utilities and then into switchboard manager and it says i already have a default switchboard. and when i go in to edit all the commands and stuff, the switchboard doesnt show up anywhere like in the forms menu so i cant further edit. even more of a problem i cant even see it. ive looked through all the menus and cant find anything that says something like "unhide switchboard". also, if anybody can help w/ this, i wanna confirm that i can have a switchboard open on startup rather than a form or a splash. thanks a bunch

Well, do you? Have you, in fact, created a Switchboard for the db?

i guess so, cuz when i went into switchboard manager, i just started to edit the one that said "Main Switchboard(default)". and when i finished adding commands and close the boxes, the switchboard still doesnt appear anywhere

In the Objects dialog box, click on Tables and see if you have a table named Switchboard Items. If you do, delete it and then try going back into the Switchboard Manager and starting over again.

Glad you got it straight. Switchboards can be problematic, that's why most of us "roll our own" using a standard form and command buttons.
