Hello there, hope any guru can help me!!

I have a MS Access Database, and in our company we have office 365, I would like to share my database which is located in my desktop PC Onedrive folder, with a couple of colleagues, but I want that those guys have the ability to edit or add new records, currently they have a link for the file, have to download the entire file edit and the upload again.

Any way to do this easier?

thanks in advance for any cooperation.

Regards

You can't use One Drive like that. You need to split the file and put the Backend on a Server and distribute Frontends to everyone. Take a look at...

If each user needs Access you can install the Runtime…

Glad to help! Will be here if/should you have more questions...

In fact yes, after read almost all of the articles, still in the limbo. so sorry. I don't get it, no one point exactly how to do it using Onedrive or share point.

You cannot use One Drive so there will be no posts on that. As for SharePoint, well, that's a whole new ball game. However, it is not going to work like... plop database backend and have everyone share frontends, you'll have some work to do.

Is there not a Directory on the Server you could store the Backend?

beveryl,

I am not sure what you are trying to say, please elaborate as I think you missed the point of the initial post.
