tab control issue

Dear Access Forum,

I have 4 tabs and I would like after moving to new record to set focus on my first tab. Now what happen is if I am using my second tab and move to the next record the focus is still on the second tab of my new record? Any suggestions?

Put a Me.ControlName.SetFocus in the Current event of the form and use a ControlName that is on the first tab.

Edit: Another approach is to put Me.TabCtl1 = 0 in the Current event using your TabCtl name of course.

you could use the OnCurrent event and set focus to your first tab.
Private Sub Form_Current()
Me.Tab1.SetFocus
End Sub
Well, a first for me RG! Simultaneous posting Glad to see I'm in good company.... It also works just setting the focus to the tab name.
