Tab problem

I have this problem.

When I tab to move through all my fields, once I reach the last field and then I press tab again, the cursor gets back to the first field. The problem is by going back to the first field it erases the content of all fields.

Can I prevent that?

And is there way to prevent some fields from ever getting focus?

i think that when you say the data is erased, it is really just saving the previous record and giving you a new record to add. check the table that the form is based on and you'll see that your data is in the table.

yes, there is a way to prevent a field from being tabbed. you can right click on the field you want to prevent users from being able to tab to, then select properties. go to the "Other" tab and set the Tab Stop property to No. does this help?

Change the Cycle current record to all records

i'm sorry, i guess my answer sounded pretty lame. I see what you mean now. I'm not sure. Maybe you could explain why you need users to tab into the first field on the first record but not on any others.
