As my first post, I'm a little wary that this has already been covered; however, being sick and under pressure and the lack of knowledge in access terms I have not been able to find any resolve in the search button (in this forum and on google.)
I have a very basic database with one table with information of each customer's purchase orders and another datasheet with each customer's contact information.
I'm trying to create an automated e-mailing system to send out the status of each customer orders. (We are a serviced based company, we have several orders for each client.)
In the sendobject feature, for the "to" would it be possible to use a table location such as "[purchase orders].[status]," as a variable that links to the contents of the table cell? Of course the reference I would use for the e-mail would be, "[customers].[emails]."
If this topic has already been covered, what keywords should I use to search for it?
