Hello All,
I'm an Access newbie (literally my first time using it), so bear with me. I've created a number of tables in my db and have also created a form that will allow a user to input data with drop downs (yes/no, hot/cold/warm...these types of drop downs). One of my tables is a list of Employee Names. What I would like to happen is this: When a person who is entering data clicks on a particular Employee Name in my form, that employee's ID automatically gets populated in the Employee ID field. It seems simple enough, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. I'm attempting to use "relationships", but that keeps failing. Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing, so I'm hoping someone out there can help me.
Thanks in advance...
Michael
