I have a text box on my from for displaying specifications in the report footer. Example of Specs:

THRO' BORE:- 4.250"
WORKING PRESSURE:- 5,000 PSI
TEST PRESSURE:- 10,000 PSI
SERVICE:- H2S & STD
UPPER CONN:-6-1/2" OTIS FEMALE QUICK UNION
LOWER CONN:- 6-1/2" OTIS MALE & COLLAR QUICK UNION
SEAL DIA:- 4.750"
SIDE CONN:- 2"-1502 WECO FEMALE UNION
LENGTH:- 24.75"
TIGHTENING TORQUE F/TIS ACME:- 1600 FT/LBS

I have can grow and can shrink set to true. But the last two lines aren't displayed. Why is this?

Can grow/shrink doesn't work on forms.

I've remeber seeing a programmatic control property to adjust field sizes in datasheet views, but never in a form view.

I've manually adjusted a control width and height based upon data content, but that doesn't work well if you have a crowed form, it makes the form look goofy and unprofessional.

A general solution is to design control objects for the worst case, or make the field as big as looks professional. Regularly shaped and organized controls make a form "look good."

I have made the text box plenty big enough for the amount of text. There seems to be a limit to the amount of characters even though I have made specifications a memo.

Might this be another on of the Auto Name Correct bugs, have you tried turning it off, is the report based on a query?
