hi all I have been trying to adjust the size of a text box with vba , if you look at the property sheet the sizes are in cm , but if I try to place this in vba it wont accept the cm (textbox. width = 6.25cm) how do I get around this please ?

Allan is correct. You need to compute the width in TWIPS and store that number. Only through the GUI can you specify units such as 0.25" (meaning a quarter of an inch).
