I have a continuous form where I want the text displayed if a record has a term date that all the data for that record is in a red text color, conditional formatting will not work and I did an if statement and still doesn't work

Why won't Conditional Formatting work? Code won't work properly on a continuous form.

I want all fields, last name first name etc to be in red font color if the term field has a date, perhaps I am doing it wrong

Select all fields. Use "Expression Is" then something like isdate([termDate]) where term date is a field or control name.

I'll get out of the way.

That post probably was not very clear. Once you select all fields, select conditional formatting. Create a new ruel. Change the combo from "field Value Is" to "Expression Is". Now write your expression.
