text is cut off when exporting report to .txt file (please help!)

Using: Microsoft Access 2000

I am trying to export a report to a .txt file and one of the fields (which containts large amounts of text in many entries) gets cut short at some point.

When I look at the report in print preview, the text is all there.
Then I export as .txt and when I open the text file, text has been lost on many of the entries.

Any ideas?

What type is the field in question? Is it a memo field......??????
