I would like to create several types of queries.

One where for example i would have the colour as a field in each record. i have set it so that it asks for user to enter a parameter. [Please enter the colour] then for exampl they would type in for example blue but this doesnt bring up any records even though i know there are records with that in it.

Secondly i would like to bring up records after a word search where the field property is a memo can this be done.

1. In the underlying table for colour, how have you set up the field? e.g. is it text, what are the properties.

2. I think that you cannot filter or sort memo fields although you can use 'ctrl'+'F' to search for and highlight words in a memo field.
