I've started receiving this message on an update query.

Any ideas ~ I'm using Access 2000.

I've also noticed that I have an unsual record in my table which I can't delete due to the same message. Although my query should not be looking at this record.

Sounds like database corruption, try compact and repair.

Is it possible that you would post what kind of data do you have in this record ... is it some kind of gibberish ?

I dont have the link but Microsoft do a tool for reparing the Jet Engine, might be worth having a look for that.
