The vanishing wizard

I know the title of my thread sounds like a movie in the fantasy genre. But all of a sudden, I seem to have no wizard!
When I used to draw a combo box, a list box, or create a new query, I'd get a pop up or an option and the wizard would assist. All of a sudden, no wizard. I'm on my own. I draw a combo box, and it just sits there - nothing asking me to choose the data source, or any of the other options. I have to manually set them. I know how to do these things without a wizard, but sometimes it's helpful to have that assis. I can't find an option to turn on/off any wizard. Anyone have a clue how to get this sorcerer to reappear?

In the ribbon on the design tab with the form in design view should be an icon with a magic wand on it that says "Use Control Wizards".
