I'm Patch, from London (UK - not Ontario!).
I'm somewhat of an Access newbie: although I first dabbled with Access97 many, many years ago, teaching myself from a book I've not really used it much since.
I'm pretty good at, and have built a number of 'systems' with, MS Excel but some of them have become very large and clunky, principally because they use large datasets. As such I came to the conclusion a while ago that some of them would benefit from being rebuilt using a database platform rather than a spreadsheet.
I've been following a fairly comprehensive, and I think quite good online training course but will still need expert help on a regular basis I'm sure to help me put together the system I want - so here I am.
