Ticking a check box once a field has been clicked

Hi,

Please see attached image.

I have this subform in a form, i want the field that has a hyperlink (which is called Link) to display a check box once the file path has been pressed, so when each path (Link) is pressed i would like the form to display a check box that would tell the person if that pathfile had been pressed. I would like this to show for each of the path files.

Can anybody help please.

Reading the above is say to me that you want the control (field) to display a check box that is not in the subform when the control "Link" is clicked correct?

or

do you mean that you want a check box that is already in the subform to be displayed (Made Visible) when the control link is clicked?

or

do you mean that you want a check box that is already in the subform to be ticked (Value changed to True) after the control Link is clicked?

or

maybe I'm just confused.

Put a check box in you table, call it linkcheck. Make it visible = false then in the onclick event of your link put this:

me.linkcheck.visible = true

this kind of works, although i want the check box to appear for each link, when i put your code in when i pressed the top link, it put the tick box to the side of all the links that follow down from the first one.

Ay ideas to show the check box for each link? if you see attached image further up the page you will know what i mean.

Did you put the check box in the table or just in the form.

If you follow what I posted it will work.

I have just noticed that in your first post you say;

You are not very clear what you want;

When you make up your mind post back, I listed your choices in a previous post all you had to do was indicate which want you want.....simple as that.

sorry for not describing to well,

so i have a field called linkcheck in my table, it's set as Yes/No,

on my form i have added the field linkcheck and i have the check box on the side of my link.

I click the top link and the check box appears, but does not have a tick through it, neither can i tick this to say it has been clicked, and also the check box appears to the side of every link, but i only want it to appear on the side of the link i have just pressed.

Is this ok?
