Time/Date Stamping a field each time it is edited

Hello,

I have a textbox control on a form whose control source is a memo field in a table. This field is to act as log or history of the record it belongs to. What I need to do is date and time stamp the field every time a user adds a comment. This date and time should appear in the field something like this...

"05/10/00 3:13:12 PM
Issue Closed, Status changed to GREEN"

where the date and time are automatically entered just prior to the added text. Does anyone know if this do-able?
