Time period in Months (1 Viewer)

One of the reports I've been working on lately lists the Start date and Completion date of projects we're working on. What I need to include on this report is a bit of text listing how many months the project was active for.

For example:
If project A started on 09/26/01 and was completed in 10/18/02 then it was active for (during) 14 months.

or

If project B started on 02/07/02 and is still currently active then it has been active for (during) 16 months.

Any ideas on how I might accomplish this?
