Microsoft® Access® para Microsoft 365 MSO (versión 2506 compilación 16.0.18925.20022) de 64 bits
Since yesterday, the button titles and images have disappeared in all the databases I open.
In some Form Buttons, the image is retained if it's from a file.
Titles are missing. The images that have disappeared are those selected in Access under Properties >> Format.
I've restored some manually, and they remain.
Do any of you know where the problem is coming from?
I've attached an example image, but there are many more, and from what I can see, all the databases are affected, and I have many.

Thank you in advance.

Example: The first button had the figure >> First record and the last one had the title "View Receipt"

I would mess with the font size or button height.

Always start with a reboot. Then if it is Wednesday, check to see if MS installed some update on Tuesday. Since the problem happens to multiple databases, it is not corruption. Something in your environment changed.

Two days ago, I lost the ability to use the shift key. So, no caps, no upper case characters. A reboot fixed the problem.

Thank you both for your replies:
I still don't know the cause of the problem, but it persists.
I'm attaching another image: It's a not-so-recent application.
The buttons are all from the same date.
As you can see, some show the title, while others don't.
I won't make any changes for now, so I can see what happens in the next Office update.
Best regards.

Are you able to upload a sample database to see if the same applies when we look at it?

Of course, Mike:
I've attached a file.
It only includes the form I posted in the image.
I think it's sufficient to see the anomaly.

Hi Gasman:I'm not getting any updates.
As I mentioned in my post #5, I think I can only wait for one, hoping it fixes the problem.
Did you have to manipulate something to get the titles to display, or did they just appear when you opened the form?
Best regards.

Did you try adjusting the height of the buttons and/or font? Microsoft is known for changing default fonts which can affect the rendering of forms and reports.

Just opened the form.
That just proves font is not white?

Might the data be there, but the button text colour is being changed to be the same as the button face, somehow?

What do you see in properties, format that identifies the button. The numbers don't seem to be a button image that MS would provide?

Thanks for your responses:
Gemma: The problem, as I see it, isn't a text color issue.
This can happen inadvertently and accidentally. It doesn't just happen to me with databases I created.
I've looked at some I downloaded from the internet as an example, and the same thing happens to me
I'm attaching another file from "theDBguy" in which one button displays the image and two don't.
I have many affected databases.
I hope an update will fix the problem.

I tested in A365 version 2506 Beta and 5 buttons have no caption. None show an image
@Gasman is using an older version of Access (2019?) which may behave differently.

However the problem is your settings. Its not a bug

The button with a caption has no image so the caption shows up OK
The others have an embedded image but the picture caption arrangement is set to No Picture Caption . . .so it doesn't show
Either change that to one of the other settings e.g. Left or remove the images

I also had to reassign new images to get them to appear e.g.

Hi Colin and Mike:
Colin: If I make the changes you suggested, I naturally get the same result.
I can admit that I may have accidentally modified a property on some command button, but that's not the case because, since yesterday, "every database I open" has anomalies of that type.
For some reason, that property has been misconfigured because the images on the buttons have also disappeared.
They're usually images I inserted with the "Internal Access Image Generator."
I performed an online repair of Office 365.
I'm opening the ones I've already repaired first.
I've attached an image of a "Repaired" button bar, and that's what I had.
Thanks and best regards.
PS: As I discover more things, I'll comment on them here.

Perhaps you (and I) have unintentionally set the default command button Picture Caption Arrangement property as No Picture Caption
Try resetting it as e.g. General

Thanks Colin:
I tried downloading your example and I got a message >>
