To store barcode value in a control

Hi guys

Does anyone having idea about storing the scanned barcode in a control . My Manager asked me to develop a form that has a control in which the barcode will be scanned by hand held machine and will automatically comes up in a control. As I have no idea about whioch control shall I use for this and how can the scanned barcode come up in that control.

Could anyone please help me to resolve this

It deppends on what type of barcode reader device are you using. The most simple version is a barco reader conected with a "Y" cable to the keyboard. This will write whatever has readed to the place where your cursor is in that moment... same as you are typing.

Search internet, there is plenty details about various barcode readers.
