Urgent Help!!!

Hello All,

I have made a critical error with my system, in tools on startup i unticked all the boxes, and now when it loads it brings up the system only and not the design view tables etc,

Is there anyway that this can be undone??????

:(But it wont allow me to enter VBA or anything, I think it looks like i wont be able to make any changes to do this from now on:(:(:(
 
You misunderstood, I was saying that you must have written code to stop the shift key working, I don't think that you can do that accidentally.

You may be able to do something with an ACCESS line command but that is not an area where I have any expertise.

If you can post the db we might be able to help, if you still can't get it.
 
Sorry about re-processing the same thread....Im really worried about this

What i did was from tools. startup then i unclicked all the ticks. I didnt realsie that design view, code etc would not be able to accessed. I never wrote any code into this.

If you can post the db, we might be able to help faster.
 
Keep the <SHIFT> key depressed until the db opens completely!

Again im really sorry about reprocessing the same thread, my mistake and wont be making them same one again.

What did you do to resolve the problem? It could help others with the same problem.
 
well all along it was the shift key,.

The comp im currently using is an old one, the keys play up now and again, maybe it was just one of those things.
