How do I set the report so it only shows 5 records per category
This is a report for a marathon and it only pays for the top 5 runners per category. It is all set, except for this issue, it shows me all records per category and I don't want to modify the query because it contains the overall results but the report filter the results per category. Thanks

How about creating a new query, just for the purposes of this report, and using the original as it's data source?

I had to do something similar, where I needed the top ten people in each of twelve geographical areas, and that was what I used.
