tough ? re sub rpts and cols

I have three subreports

each of them will format the data in cols as expected when previewed individually

when they are inserted into a main report they print in cols as expected .... until

I add page breaks

when i do that only the last subreport will print in col

I can change the order of the reports in the master, in each case only the last report prints in col

the first two print in a single col on the left
