Transfer a field from the last record into the new record.

This is very easy I am sure, but I just don't know how to do it. I have searched the threads and do not find exactly what I am looking for.

Entering data into a form. The first field is basically "who". When that data is entered, the "who" stays the same until there is a new "who".

Glancing at my event choices maybe this would work?

On Lost Focus --> SetTempVar equal to current entry. (I'm not sure if that is me.field_name though?)

On Get Focus --> Preload the TempVar into the field, allowing the "who" to just press enter and go on. (Assuming something like .. well I don't know to be honest.)

Unfortunately, I'm not very sure at how to do all this? This is very easy I am sure, but I just don't know how to do it.
