Transfer and Transpose

Hi Everyone,

I want to be able to transpose and transfer data from a CSV file into Access.
The format of the data is as follows:-

Jan-04, Feb-04, Mar-04, Apr-04 etc.
Shop1 xxx xxx xxx xxx
Shop2 x xx xxx xx
Shop3 xx x xx x
Shop4 xx xx xx xxx
etc.

I want to transpose it in some way so that I can easily select the months I want in a query in accesss e.g.

Shop1 Jan04 xxx
Shop1 Feb04 xxx
Shop1 Mar04 xxx
Shop2 Jan04 xxx
Shop2 Feb04 xxx
Shop2 Mar04 xxx

Has anyone got any ideas? Is this clear to understand?
