I am wanting to use an image which has a transparent background on a form but each time I place the image on the form it puts a white or balck background on the image instead of having it transparent as it should be. I have tried all of the various image formats jpg, gif, tif, png etc but none of them seem to work. I assume that this is a limitation within access? or is there some way around it?

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate their help.

Thanks in advance

Drag the image into Word first, then save it with a transparent backround before pasting it into Access

I have tried this but it still displays the image with the white background is there anything I need to do in word??

Thanks for your help!

EMF Files

Find a converter online and change your pictures to *.EMF files. I have succesfully used linked transparent emf files in my forms.
