Transpose subform?

Hi - Question number two..

Is it possible to transpose the subform data set. I have a subform which lists alleles. There are a variable number of alleles in the subform, which is linked to a second subform. Each allele has a size and a frequency.

It is listed in a tabular format, but the default is top to bottom layout. Is there anyway to display this left to right?

Hi shepHeard,

Is it the subform you talk of transposing? If so go to its default view property and change it to datasheet view.

Hi Robert,

Sorry - yeah I tried that, but it still lists top->bottom. I want it to go left->right.

at the moment it looks like this:

allele: size: frequency:
a | 21 | 0.23
b |13 | 0.13
c |etc |etc

but I want it to go:

allele: a b c d
size: etc
frequency: etc

I couldn't see a way of making do that...
