TreeView Control Expanded when form opens.

I have placed a treeview control on an access2k form and successfully populate it in the form's "onload" using 2 tables: Depts and Associate. Generally it works great - except that when I open the form the control is displayed with all expandable nodes expanded. I can click the minus signs (to +) and that works fine. I want the default mode to be +. Any help is appreciated in advance.
