Trouble hiding menu bar/viewing shortcut menus

First , I am pretty new to VBA code and such.
I am trying to hide the menu bar when the DB is opened.
When the db is opened it goes right to the switchboard form where I have added the additional form buttons.
I read a post here that, (ghudson) (place the hide all tool bars routine in your opening splash screen), I do not use a splashscreen.
I copied the code to several locations in the switchboard and it didn't work.
Another hitch is I would like the users to be able to use shortcut full menu's
(right click)

Maybe this is too much to ask.

Make a custom menu for your database

If you made a custom menu, you could set this as the menu bar in the

Tools, Startup... box.

For how to create a custom menu, see http://www.jamiessoftware.tk/articles/menubars.html. It's seems quite good and has pictures too.
