trying to display info

I have a form with all the employees info and when you hit a button another form appears with that employees id and all the different contacts that employee has. Each form is stored in a different table. I created a query that brings back all the employees info and all his related contacts by using his ID number. This is linked to a report that shows all the fields. The problem is that if an employee has two or more contacts the report appears on two pages. The first page has all his employee details and contact info for the first one and then a second page repeats all the employee info again and displays the second contact. I want to be able to have one page with the employee details and then list both contacts on that page. Is this possible?

You should use a sub report. Basically you create the main form with your employee info. Then create another with the contacts info (probable type: continuous). Then open the employee info in restored mode and drag and drop the contacts details form into it.
You will only be left linking the main form with the subform (contacts) by defining the parent and child field(s) in the subform properties (= how the two forms are related: probably through the employee ID in your case).

Unfortunately that did not give me the results that I was looking for. I created an employee report with the contact info subreport, the problem is that because there is two contacts associated with that one employee, I get 0ne page with employee info and it's two contacts and then it repeats itself and gives me the exact same thing on a second page with the employee info and it's two contacts. I tried adding a third contact, just to test it and the result is three identical pages. The report and subreport are linked by the employee id. Is there some kind of property that I am suppose to set or something that I am suppose to do, in order to get this to generate just one page with the employee info and all it's contacts? Thanks for any help.
