this is pretty much the jist of how I would like my main window to look for a database I am making. I have already made version 1 and it's ok, but its combersome and hard to navigate.

I was wondering if there is someone out there that has examples of how to make my stuff look like this. The buttons and forms and everything I can figure out for myself once I have an example to go from.

But I am still very new to access and do not know how to build stuff like this from scratch.

Check out [and dissect] the Northwind sample db that comes with all versions of Access.

The screen shot you posted has a main form, with a sub form [in datasheet view], a tab control and a bunch of command buttons, text boxes and combo boxes. It is nothing fancy but it takes patience and planning to organize a db that is functional and easy to use for the users.
