The main form in my database is giving me an error message to say "The form name is misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist" when I try to open it, despite the fact that I can see it there. If I try to change its name it says "save operation failed". Does anyone have any idea what this could be before I recreate the form?

Thanks very much for any help.

Try looking at Tools, Start-up, display form. It is possible that you set-up a switchboard through the wizard and then changed the forms name?! If so, change the display form name to suit your current form name.

Thanks for the suggestion but that's not it. The thing that is baffling me about it is that if I do go into tools/startup the form name is there to be picked in the LOV. It is also there to double click on the forms tab, there in the database properties, there to pick in the documenter (although it fails if I try to document it) and so on. It's just whenever I try to open it it then gives me a message to say it can't find it, but it's there to double click on in the first place so makes no sense...
Thanks
