I have a database that I have been maintaining for some time.
Recently I decided to save it in SourceSafe. At the same time that I moved it to SourceSafe, I also switched to a new computer.
When I open the database, and try to make changes to a form, Access tells me that I do not have the database opened exclusively, and therefore can not save my changes. The database is not read only and it is checked out of SourceSafe for me to make changes.
I have the Access option set to open databases up exclusively by default. I am also logging in as a user that has full rights to all objects, and is also the owner of all the objects.
I really need to be able to maintain this database, and unfortunately I don't know if it's the new computer or SourceSafe that is causing the problem.
Please help me!
