unexplained problem

hey guys,

i have the strangest unexplained problem with my system!

I have a system that has a large comments box! it is linked to SQL and the box stores any text.

The system is working fine, apart from record number 16780 wont accept anything in the comments box! When you type anything in and try to move to the next record, an error message appears (write comflict) and you are not allowed to save any changes 'for that particular record and field'! it says another user had made changes to the system! I have updated the tables and ensured that everyone has closed the system and yet the problem still occurs!

Is there something i should know about memo's? I can type text into the field via the table view and through the SQL server!

correction, changes can be made through SQL server, but NOT in the table in access or in the form!

I have another problem aswell, in my forms. when moving between records the form doesnt refresh properly, the fields cross over from the previous record etc. is there a way to stop this?
