Unfamiliar query symbo...

Hello all,
I ran across this 'Where clause' and didn't recognize one of the symbols

WHERE
MAXIMO.V_INVENTORY.ITEMNUM (+) = MAXIMO.V_POLINE.ITEMNUM

What is (+)= doing?

Thanks all
PB

pd,

That is from an ORACLE system I bet.

It means include ALL from the V_INVENTORY table
and if there is no corresponding entry in the
MAXIMO table, put blanks.
