Hello everyone,
Just a simple question: Is there any way to insert Unicode characters outside the basic multilingual plane (BMP) in MS Access?
I've already tried ChrW and does not work, because it is limited to decimal integers up to 65536 or hexadecimal up to FFFF.
I'm looking to introduce via VBA characters residing in the Supplementary Multilingual Plane (transcription of Mycenaean inscriptions). Basically, I'm building a virtual keyboard with the pictograms on buttons and want to be able to introduce them into a text field.
Thank you for any help!
PS: I already have a workaround solution, whereby I introduce the character as caption and copy the caption of the button to the text field, but I would like to know if there is a more proper way to do this.
