Update Query Trigger

Hi
im going to make an update query to deduct the quantity purchased of a product from the stock amounts but i need it to run the query automatically everytime a new record is added to the table

any ideas how to do it?

You should re-think your design, storing the stock on hand is not a good idea, search here for posts on inventory, the topic's been covered many times

In addition to what Rich said, Access doesn't support triggers.
