Update Query

I am trying to create an update query from a select query. In the select query I have the AutoNumb and ID field combined together. I need to update the table with this field and I keep getting an error that tells me that my ID field could be related to one or more tbls, queries, etc. I don't know what I am doing wrong with this. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

You should not store this value in a table, it can be obtained anywhere in your db when required
ie. =[Field1]&[Field2]

Are the "AutoNumb" and "ID" fields joined in the query window? What field are you trying to update? If there is a join between the two fields and you are trying to update one of them...it won't work. You'll need to use some other criteria to join the tables.

If you have some more detail, I'll be glad to look at the issue.
